Happy Bday Aunt T!!!!!

First and foremost ~ Happy Birthday to Tara...the BIG 2-6...Weddings, Vacations, Margaritas...
We love you!! You're the best! We can't wait to celebrate with you later this week:)

Also, happy, happy Bday to Aunt Ree! We loved spending time with you over the weekend, the party was great!

Here is LJ modeling his NYAC outfit...a gift from his girlfriends on the women's soccer team...

Here he is rolling around in the grass ~

Our pool opened over the weekend and LJ just loves it! He is starting to refuse baby food and prefers to eat what we're having. He's a superfast expert crawler at this point, chasing after him is a tough job:)

Got out with my camera tonight...

James Ryan is not the most cooperative model these days, he's really into crawling everywhere, putting everything in his mouth, and drooling all over his shirt. His shirt is usually drenched before I can snap a photo.
So...here is my favorite from tonight of my little angel Kaleigh ~
In B&W...

and in color...

Blogging hiatus is over!

Things have been crazy and I haven't had time to update our blog during the last few weeks. Not a lot of time now, but here are a few pictures to tide you over.

We have been shuttling up and down the Eastern seaboard for weeks. We spent a few days in Washington - James Ryan loved to National Zoo and enjoyed being an urban baby for a few days. He really enjoyed the sights and sounds of the city.

He's crawling now (in his own way) and gets from point A to B so fast! He loves playing with everything that he shouldn't, so Jim and I are trying to baby proof the house.

He says Bama now! I know, it's not technically Mama, but I'll take it!

Just one...

from tonight because I love it:-)

My little namesake. She's just too cute.
We caught up with Ang, Joe, and family at the softball field tonight.
Cassandra's team kicked butt, Angelisa was an adorable, enthusiastic observer, and Luke is cuter than ever and getting so big! James Ryan had fun at the field too:)

I have a big day tomorrow, I'm so sad, I won't get to see my little guy at all:)

James Ryan is 8 months old today! Can you

believe it? I can't.
We're so living in fast-forward.
The weekend is ending, I can't believe it's Sunday night.
This weekend, we went to Dazzio's on Friday to see Phil play. It was fun. Tara, Kevin, Laura, and Chris went too, Eddie was tending bar, Uncle Ed, Greg & Ang, Tommy Smith, Danny & Rochelle, and Shannon were there too. Several Physical Solutions friends were also there, and the Tiki bar was open. It was really fun.
Saturday we ran errands, went for a walk, enjoyed the weather...it was nice, and low key. Today we had a Physical Solutions event and then went for a little Sunday drive.
We checked out Wenonah, so cute, lots of great architecture. I wanna buy a house there just for fun:)

LJ is not officially crawling yet (at least in the forward direction), however, he gets around well by rolling, scooting, and crawling backwards. As you can see, he loves to walk (with assistance), anything that makes him feel grown up, he loves. He's just itching for more independence. We're in big trouble when he starts walking, he already loves to get into anything he's not supposed to. If he is surrounded by colorful, fun, seemingly interesting toys, he wants your cell phone, keys, anything but the toys:)
He has been saying "Da, da, da..." like crazy, it's so cute. I can't wait till he says Mama...I'm sure my heart will flutter the first time he says my name:)
Happy May to everyone! Tara and Kevin left for their cruise this morning, I'll be thinking about them and living vicariously through them this week:) Hmmm...Barbados, Saint Thomas, I'll be day dreaming all week.
Have a great week.

Busy, busy

We have lots going on these days:)

We're back home this week:)
Big News ~ Jim's practice at the NY Athletic Club will officially open for business on June 5th!! He has so much to do between now and then.

We had a lot of fun in NYC last weekend. James Ryan enjoyed his first trip to a museum and also his first trip to the Central Park Zoo! He loves animals, he was cracking up at the seals and penguins. He also sat in a high chair at a restaurant for the first time. He thought he was hot stuff! He likes doing things that make him feel grown up:)

Although we packed about a million things for our trip, we somehow forgot our stroller. You can not do without a stroller in NYC...we could have gone without anything but the stroller for a few days. Needless to say, there was a little drama when we arrived and a realized that we had to buy a new stroller. We had 4 strollers, now we have 5:)
We took the bus to the closest baby store and bought the cheapest stroller that money can buy. It is very flimsy, no 5 point harness, no shock absorption, no basket to store things in, and even I (all 5'2'' of me) have to crouch down to push the thing. I was not happy, I think I even stomped my foot once in the store. We decided to walk back to the Harmon's and as we passed countless Bugaboos and Maclarens, Jim said, "You have some serious stroller envy right now, I can tell." He knows me so well:)
