Camp Klotzbach

As promised, here are a few photos from our stay with the Klotzbach's. We all had a great time, it was so nice to spend time together. James Ryan just loves Elizabeth and Emily:) He thinks Gregory and Uncle Shark-tankio are pretty cool too!

We grilled on Saturday and Annie, Dave, Julie, and Bill joined us for dinner before heading to Holly and Pratt's charity beruit tournament. Lizzy's friend Eva joined us for dinner as well. Jim and Mark golfed, I went to Nikon School on Sunday, and we even visited Lizzy's school on Tuesday!

I just love this one ~

Sugar and Spice...

Fridays have become my day to visit with family and chase the kids around with my camera. Fun, fun!! Today I was prepared with bubbles and lollipops (yes, I resort to bribery) and caught a few cute shots of two little princesses.

I finally figured out how to make a storyboard ~ here's my first attempt...this could be fun!

Here are the images in full size and a few other faves (Susie, Kelly, and Nik, I will send you these on Snapfish ASAP, not tonight though, I need sleep:)

Also, I'm lovin these 2 of little miss thing...as you can imagine, she was a very willing model:) She is passing on her tiara tomorrow when the new Miss Clementon is crowned at this year's pageant.

I really like the lighting in this one...

The lighting is not very good here, but, oh the face....

James Ryan and I visited the Walt Whitman Stratford house this afternoon. It was fun to get out and enjoy the weather. I was thinking about a fond childhood memory from the Whitman house, involving my Nan, a concert, a firefly, and a tantrum. I had the urge to ride by and look at the place and I found out that they still have the summer concerts program in the yard. I'll have to take James Ryan, maybe he'll even catch a firefly and throw a tantrum:)
Enjoy the weekend!

I found a few new kiddos....

to follow around with my camera! They were so sweet and cooperative and here's what we came up with...

Today Angelisa was the 'model' and Cassandra was the 'photographer's assistant.' We'll do another shoot soon where it will be the other way around.

Of course I had to snap a few of Luke, I was lovin his tiny hands and chubby cheeks today:)

I'm trying to give LJ a little break from the camera, however, I snuck a few shots of him today and had to include one of my favorites, 2 ways, which color and crop do you like better....

Nothing terribly exciting going on for now, Jim worked everyday last week so LJ go to hang with out Aunt Laura, Mom Mom & Paw, and Grandma Sue! He had a great time:)
Hoping to get some spring cleaning done tomorrow and make a Trader Joe's run, we also need to file our taxes. Exciting, huh? The forecast is looking terrible for Sunday and Monday, April showers I guess.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you had a great time today:) James Ryan did!

Kayleigh finds an egg!

LJ was obsessed with the purple egg he found during the hunt. He loved shaking it, it was filled with a whole 59 cents - cha-ching!

Zack on the prowl for more eggs..

Miss Ava...

My cutie:)

If at first you don't succeed...try...try again

James Ryan and I are very, very proud of Jim.
He has been working for awhile now toward opening his own practice, and I'm happy to report that today he received some very exciting on the business front.
It's big:)
His dedication to his dream, and hard work are finally paying off!
Sorry to leave you hanging, but I'm not going to spill all the details on the blog, at least not tonight. It's Jim's success and he deserves to share it with all of you:)
I'm sure this topic will get more action on the blog in the coming weeks as everything sinks in and we nail down the plans. We're in the 'pinch me' phase right now and have some decisions to make and details to work out.

More exciting news ~ James Ryan has slept through the night 2 nights in a row! We're going for the three-peat tonight, wish us luck!

Happiness is.....

Well, today, it's flip flops!
I had a rough morning. First, I forgot a few important things that I needed for the day, then realized on the train that I had gross mushed avocado all over my jacket -thanks little Jim! I finally got to work and had a very intense morning meeting. By lunch time, I really needed a little pick-me-up. I found it a J.Crew.

Is it wrong to love a pair of shoes? I hope not, I LOVE them...love the polka-dots, love the pink, and love that they give me a little height. They are perfect.
I'm not much of a shopper, and typically don't indulge in 'retail therapy,' but I'm so glad I did today.

Now I just need a pedicure:)

Put me in coach...

I'm ready to play...

today, look at me, I can be center field;)

James Ryan had an exciting day of rooting for the Mets, hanging out with his cousin Gianna, and getting spoiled by Mom Mom and Paw. It's the typical grandparent thing, he gets to have things there that we don't let him have at home, like a few tastes of orange sherbet and vanilla ice cream.

Here is a cute shot of the adorable Miss G:)
